​Capitalise on the "new year"/"fresh start" mentality and perform a data clean now before the year starts to roll past.

  • Identify what area you felt your sales department fell short in keeping updated and orderly. Can a system be changed to ensure this doesn't repeat in 2019?

  • Are there any duplicate profiles that need merging?

  • Check if your team have any client notes kept elsewhere and input these into your CRM system.

  • Are your CRM system tags still relevant and beneficial to your sales processes?

  • Do you use another program/tool other then your CRM to collect data that needs to be synced? 

Clean data is crucial to the success of your sales process. If you identify a staff member that has not been competent in 2018 in keeping their data clean, add this into their KPIs as a measurable expectation.
