Turning Lost Business Into New Business

Just because a business lead has been lost, doesn't mean the potential for future opportunities is redundant.  Follow these two sales techniques to secure more business.
  • Place a follow up in your diary two weeks prior to their event. Send a short email wishing them all the best for the upcoming event. This simple action places you in the front of their mind and demonstrates that you have genuine care for their business.
  • Secondly, schedule a follow up sales call three weeks post conference. By this time the client will be in early stages of planning their next event and may be open to proposals. Start the conversation by establishing what they thought worked well and what had room for improvement.
By adding this process to your sales strategy you are ensuring that you have the steps in place to successfully convert lost business into new opportunities... Happy Converting!
