​Conversion’s Founder and Managing Director, Nicole Bates is Australia’s leading expert in sales and management for the meetings and events industries. Driven by a passion to help make meeting and events businesses the best they can be, Nicole founded her first sales and advisory business in 2013.

Since opening in 2016, Conversion Management has become an establishment solely focusing on sales processes and sales training, with a specialised focus on the hospitality, meetings and event industries.
​Nicole and her team work with clients to grab hold of their potential, to convert prospects into clients, and to help restaurants, venues and suppliers transform into profitable powerhouses.  


Nicole’s in-depth experience in analysing sales data partnered with her ongoing commitment to the art and science of ‘the sales process’ ensures her strategies are always well targeted, aggressive and achievable. Most importantly, she’s proven to help events businesses reap real results.
​Having dedicated almost 20 years to strategically building business for Australia's foremost hotels, catering companies and event organisations, Nicole’s track record is more than impressive. She holds a Bachelor of Business in hospitality management and is a highly acclaimed and qualified sales trainer. Nicole runs regular sales training workshops across the country attracting hundreds of event sales executives, business development managers and the like, who are eager to learn about a targeted approach to sales systems, sales training/coaching, sales management and direct sales.

​Lisa manages the Conversion Management office and general business activities, supporting each team member.
​With eight years experience at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in Technology Sales and Production. This along with extensive experience working with hotels and catering companies in the UK, Lisa has exception organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Irina Vishnina - SALES MANAGER​

​Irina has over a decade of sales management experience and is an asset to the Conversion Management team, and in turn to our clients. With a Masters in Economics of Tourism and notable experience such as managing the sales and marketing of a boutique Oxfordshire Country House Hotel, Irina has personally built several successful international sales teams and kept them motivated to continuously strive to achieve and exceed targets. Her passion for sales is driven by representing the products she believes in.

​​Misty takes care of the digital marketing and sales activities for Conversion Management. With three years of experience in managing a Digital Marketing Firm, she has her finger on the digital pulse. Backed by over a decade of hospitality and events experience, Misty’s skills are well rounded for the meetings and events industries.
She has worked with a list of hospitality legends such as Mark Best (Pei Modern), George Calombaris (Press Club), Scott Pickett (Estelle), Geoff Lindsey (Pearl Restaurant), Adam D'Sylva (Coda & Tonka Restaurants) to name a few.
